We have now ordered food to go at the Hirsch twice and were thrilled both times. It was delicious! During this time, we are happy to support those who are affected by the closings and will be happy to visit the Golden Deer if this is regularly possible again. We really like the mix of traditional and experimental menus. Keep it up !!!

Nice that you can order here at the moment. So you have a delicious meal and don't have to go out. Delivery time is okay, so is the quality of the food. But it is time that you can go back personally. Hopefully the madness will be over soon.

It's a shame, we always loved to come, but the service today wasn't that good! Wait 45 minutes for the food to arrive. In an hour and a half we had a drink from a dessert, not to mention. And in the end I had to go to the counter to ask for the bill because no waiter made it to our table. Certainly the innkeepers have a hard time in these times, but right now you should try to attract guests.

We got married on September 12th, 2020 and we were allowed to enjoy our wedding dinner in the beer garden in glorious sunshine. The stay at the "Goldener Hirsch" was perfect for us right up to the last minute. The tables were set with love, the menus were well designed and the wine list left nothing to be desired. We received a very warm and warm welcome. The food was great again. None of my guests had to wait long for their order. Everything was done to make us feel comfortable. Thank you, dear team, thank you, Ms. Burau. :-)

Yesterday we were allowed to dine in a large team of 12 people, of course under hygiene measures that were taken seriously and observed. We were able to reserve online beforehand without any problems. Friendly email contact. On site we really had a breathtaking decorated table and an extremely attentive and absolutely resilient waitress, as we were already a bit "behavioral". To the blonde waitress with the pink dirndel from the evening on October 14th. Many thanks for the really nice and pleasant evening. It tasted very good, except for a few who made the wrong decision. The food is definitely worth the money and very well presented. Well-being and other wishes were always asked, but without being unobtrusive.

The staff was very friendly. Also to our children, which is not the case everywhere. The restaurant is furnished with great attention to detail. The price for the food is rather "more expensive" but worth the price. We ate in different places during our vacation, but not everywhere it was good and worth the price. We would go to eat there again if it turns out. We have already recommended it to the family.

A high quality restaurant located in the village. Guest rooms from quaintly cozy to spacious, very tastefully furnished and stylishly decorated and covered. A menu the size of a short novel with a detailed and original description of the individual dishes. Highly recommended, especially for meat lovers. The service staff was very friendly, fast and we felt very well looked after.

We were there as guests of a wedding. It was very well prepared, the guests were very attentive and requests were met. And the food? It was exactly as it is always there: simply terrific! Everything was very, very delicious!

A long time ago a business friend invited us to a family celebration in the golden stag. Everything was perfectly organized. Great food and great service. We would love to come back.

A real surprise visit. The ambience can easily be described with rustic GDR flair, but I mean that in the most sympathetic way! The service was very friendly, pleasant in the background and always at the table immediately, should something happen. The food tasted very hearty, but just as tasty. Good German (and partly American-style) cuisine. A nice gimmick was the description of the dishes in the menu. Descriptive text of the dish written with great precision instead of a simple list of ingredients. You immediately knew what to expect and had fun reading it. So I can recommend it to everyone who likes German cuisine.

To my shame I have to admit, even though I've driven past it a lot, I've never been to this restaurant. We were invited to a wedding and I was able to experience a host who knows his trade, who knew what the kitchen has put on the buffet and if there are problems (allergens) the kitchen will immediately prepare a suitable meal. There was also a consultation :) Very good service. A very nice restaurant where you can not only celebrate weddings. There is also a pool. The next visit is already planned. Thanks to the team from the "Goldener Hirsch".

As almost neighbors, we are always happy to come to you. Yes, the prices are higher than in some other restaurants, but we think that's perfectly reasonable for fresh, high quality food. The staff are always on their toes, friendly, respond to special requests and are quick. And here too you have to say. Good staff want to be paid accordingly and we experience little to no fluctuation in staff at the Hirsch. That speaks for itself! We are very happy to come and are currently looking forward to the currently slightly redesigned menu. Thank you L.K. and thank your team!

If you like it rustic, this is the right place. Just like a city dweller imagines a country inn. Very nice patio. Super delicious food. Very ample at that. Staff unobtrusive, but very, very friendly. Everything fitted. You will definitely come by again. Incidentally, by bike from Leipzig from Lindenau Harbor along the Saale-Leipzig Canal - a nice route.

I was really hungry, I also tasted my friend's and my father-in-law's food, everything was inedible. Not worth a penny. And since my comment was not answered that the food does not taste good, here again to the shrimp bowl-> the tomatoes did not taste like tomatoes, the mushrooms came out of the can, the salad was sour and the quark with the baked potatoes was super sweet. All in all repentant. We would have preferred to go to a sausage stand.

Great atmosphere and nice and tidy. Conditions brisk and friendly. Great care is taken to ensure cleanliness. Tastes good. The fries were perfectly matched. In some cases a bit higher in price. Good 4.5 stars.

So far we have always been very satisfied with the kitchen, the service and the overall ambience in the restaurant and in the beer garden. But unfortunately we were very disappointed on August 6th, 2020 at 6 p.m. We sat with 6 people at the entrance on the left in the large beer garden. The table and the benches were sloping, so that after about 2 hours of sitting you had pain in your neck, hips and back and you were happy and relieved to be able to walk. Our young guests also had back and neck problems from sitting at an angle. The music was also quite loud and it wasn't a good place to talk. So that we asked the service staff several times to turn the music down a bit or to turn it off completely. But she was of the opinion that this is not possible, order from ABOVE! In addition, despite the very high prices, there was a € 1 hygiene surcharge per person was taken. Is that appropriate? All in all, it was not a relaxing evening for us and we will not pay a visit to the Goldener Hirsch again anytime soon.

Top place, beautiful, typical German food

The staff are very friendly but not intrusive. The food was brought quickly and was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable for fairly large portions! In short it is a very cozy place to have a nice evening.

Very rude staff I was over charged and when I spoke to the owner he said he was calling the police 🚔 the food was not good either 🤢🤮
